Kottayam Jan 14: The 41st Kalamezhuthu of Pandavam Sree Dharma Sasta Temple concluded today. The Kalamezhuttu of Sree Ayyappan a rare event was led by artist Kudamaloor P. B Muraleedhara Marar. The Artist had passed the examination in Kalamezhuthu from the Kshetra Kalapeedam Academy with first rank. He is now working for the fellowship project of the Central Government.

Dec 20th 2005: Ambalapuzha Parameswara kurup and Varanatt Sankaranarayana kurup are some of the master artist of Kalamezhuttu. And among the new generation P. B. Muraleedhara Marar and Keezhillam Unnikrishana Marar are some of the most gifted performers of this art form.

Muraleedhara Marar who hails from a temple bounded community in Kottayam , has done many research works and actively engaged in the promotion of Kalamezhuttu pattu.

2003 July 15th:2004 August 20th: Kuramaloor muraleedhara marar combines the traditional kalamezhuttu style of "bhoothavadivu" with painting style of "chitravadivu" with his works. This mixtured style is very rare and this make him distinguish from other artist

For the last fifteen years he is engaged with different art forms such as kalamezhuttu pattu, Panchavadaym, Panivadanam, Sopana sangeetham, Chendamelam etc.
